about me

I am an architect currently based in Bergen, Norway. I obtained the degree Master of Architecture in 2009 at the Bergen School of Architecture after previous architecture studies at the FAU-UCV and the URU in my country of origin, Venezuela. I have worked with analysis and development of spatial strategies in different sites and scales within the fields of architecture and urbanism dealing with a variety of issues such as the skrinking of villages, urban densification and the creation of public spaces for interaction between diverse ethnical and social groups. My master degree project Art Inco(u)porated explored the way contemporary art and culture are used as socio-political instruments in processes of urban or city development, the city of Bergen as a case study.

I have experience with the use of different methods such as physical mappings, spatial visualizations, illustration, scenario-development as well as wider design-related tasks and processes. From 2009 to 2012 I worked as a academic assistant and tutor in the 2nd year of the foundation program for Architecture at the Bergen School of Architecture exploring methodological approaches to the process of developing ideas about our surrounding environment. Simultaneously I collaborated in various projects within the field of visual arts.

Since 2012 I am have also been working as a consultant in the field of urban planning for the norwegian firm Multiconsult AS.
